Position Overview:
Compugen is seeking an Oracle Licensing Specialist for an initial two year contract working remotely starting in mid-October. This will be on an as needed basis. Candidate must currently reside within Canada and be available to work CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle Licensing Specialists who can deliver cost-effective best practices, ongoing reviews, and expert guidance on Oracle products, solutions, and licensing, as needed, to support various ITD-led projects.
- Provide Oracle licensing advisory services to ensure client remains in a compliant state.
- Guide GOS through the audit process as needed.
- Assist with identifying and managing licensing that can be de-supported under Rimini Street’s Global License and Advisory Services for Oracle Applications as legacy environments are turned down following the launch of the Enterprise Business Management Project (EBMP).
- Assist with various SBP projects to modernize applications and transition them to the Oracle cloud.
- Develop requirements and design Oracle software request processes.
- Assist with implementing the Oracle software request process and any applicable corporate policies.
- Interface with Oracle’s representatives on client’s behalf, when required.
- Provide various adhoc reporting and advice.
- Provide expertise on legacy Oracle, Oracle Cloud and emerging technologies.
- Analyze client requirements and propose cost-effective solutions for both existing and new licensing.
- Conduct annual audits to maximize entitlements and identify deficiencies/issues.
- Provide educational support to clients on Oracle licensing.
- Utilize organizational change management skills to lead successful change.
- Facilitate business process mapping workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Write detailed business process documentation and business and technical requirements, as well as manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform contract review and consultation with legal and procurement teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience establishing a process for Oracle license and product requests.
- Demonstrated experience conducting an annual audit / review of the licensing of Oracle environments to maximize entitlements and identify deficiencies and issues.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients in the review of Oracle software entitlements at all product levels
- Demonstrated experience analyzing client requirements to provide the most cost-effective solutions available.
- Demonstrated experience providing educational support on best practices and efficiencies to clients on Oracle products and services.
- Demonstrated familiarity and experience with Rimini Street’s Global License and Advisory Services for Oracle Applications, including identifying and managing licensing that can be de-supported.
- Demonstrated experience in using organizational change management skills and creating strategies and plans to lead successful change in an organization
- Demonstrated experience facilitating and conducting business process mapping workshops, and requirements gathering sessions for eliciting true requirements
- Demonstrated experience writing detailed business process documentation, business and technical requirements, and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience with contract review and consultation, including, at minimum:
- Experience in reviewing contracts, including Resource Contracts and Master Terms and Conditions;
- Ability to work with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance and favorable terms; and
- Providing industry expertise of comparable size and complexity for contracts.
- Demonstrate experience providing guidance during annual audits, assisting clients in identifying deficiencies and issues, and finding opportunities to maximize entitlements.
- Demonstrate experience with:
- Applying Oracle expertise when transitioning applications to Oracle Cloud
- Working with Oracle representatives on behalf of the stakeholders.
- Providing stakeholders with applicable reporting and advice on an as needed basis.
