You will have your finger on the pulse of multiple projects and must be detail-oriented and agile. This role will support the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that align with our clients’ goals and our agency’s vision. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Design:

  • Create engaging content for social media and newsletters.
  • Develop website content to ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Design marketing materials and website elements within Canva, (Figma knowledge is a plus), following guidance from the Creative Director. (Please provide a portfolio of work with application)

Marketing Automation and Technology:

  • Develop and manage marketing automations and funnels (experience with CRM systems is an asset).
  • Stay technically inclined and show an interest in learning new technology systems.

Market Research and Trends:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in marketing and technology.
  • Show an interest in learning a wide range of topics, including challenging areas like policy, politics, healthcare, and more.

Professionalism and Agility:

  • Be agile and a self-starter, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Work professionally with clients and build strong relationships.
Your Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a marketing coordinator, ideally in a creative agency or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of business principles and customer service.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, foster a positive team dynamic, and manage work effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and own the quality of your work.
  • In-depth knowledge of a specific market or industry considered an asset (please specify in your application).
  • Passion for community engagement and a desire to make a positive impact on Atlantic Canada.
