Grant Writer

We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer & Creative Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support both non-profit and for-profit organizations by writing compelling grant proposals and business project proposals. This position also encompasses creative writing, ensuring that our projects shine both in storytelling and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grant Writing: Research, identify, and apply for grant opportunities relevant to our clients. Write clear, engaging, and effective proposals that align with funder requirements and maximize chances of success.
  • Creative Writing: Develop creative content that supports client missions, to deliver written project deliverables.
  • Creative Storytelling: Use creative writing skills to craft narratives that resonate with potential funders, investors, and stakeholders, aligning with the mission and values of each client.
  • Collaboration & Research: Work closely with cross-functional teams, gathering insights and data to strengthen applications and ensure a cohesive storytelling approach. Conduct research to find new funding opportunities and tailor proposals to meet client needs.
  • Access to Tools & Resources: Utilize modern grant management tools and proposal development software to enhance efficiency and impact. Forward Creative offers access to a range of resources to support you in your role.
  • Client Engagement: Communicate directly with clients to understand their goals, ensuring that each proposal is uniquely tailored to their mission and needs.
Your Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in grant writing and proposal development, ideally across non-profit and for-profit sectors.
  • Strong creative writing ability, with a talent for crafting narratives that are compelling, clear, and aligned with project goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field.
  • Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent research skills and an ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive text.
