Director of Digital Marketing

Alongside managerial and strategic support, you will harness the power of your marketing and client presentation skills to act as confidant and consultative advisor to clients — showcasing your strategic expertise to help them grow their businesses through digital marketing.

What the successful candidate will be doing:

  • Managing the strategy team members to support the successful delivery of ideas, optimizations and strategic recommendations that allow our clients to achieve their digital marketing goals.
  • Lead high-value client engagements, serving as the primary strategic advisor and driving the development of full-funnel marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that deliver measurable results and exceed client expectations.
  • Provide oversight and step in to support clients, delivering high-value expertise and a professional perspective to ensure any issue is dealt with promptly and entirely.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as a trusted partner and advisor to senior clients and identifying opportunities for organic growth and account expansion.
  • Lead business development efforts within your account oversight to pitch new business, secure new client partnerships, and drive revenue growth for the agency.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to cross-functional teams, including strategy and production, to ensure seamless execution of our strategic recommendations.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership within the B2B marketing practice, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and sharing insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to foster their growth and development within the organization.
  • Support the briefing of our service team to ensure we execute effective strategies on our client’s behalf.
  • Present reports on key performance metrics and recommend or implement adjustments to optimize toward success and reduce/address client churn. You’ll present conversion rates, ROI, earned links, SERP metrics, and more.
  • Lead client presentations, client calls and client pitches for expansions, as well as develop the team to do the same.
  • Support the VP of Strategy and other SLT with process creation and digital marketing, sub-offerings, deliverables, processes, and pricing management.
  • Lead and expand International Content Strategy, SEO, UX Design, Reddit Marketing, Technical SEO, and YouTube Content Marketing sub-offerings.
  • Collaborate with Operations on tools, technology, contracts, security, and process improvements to support content and SEO teams.
  • Own or assist with the creation of case studies and award submissions, showcasing both content marketing and SEO success stories.

What skills and experience the successful candidate will need:

  • 8+ years working for a digital marketing agency in a related position
  • Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
  • Minimum of 3 years leading client meetings
  • Minimum of 3 years of SEO experience
  • Minimum of 3 years leading full-funnel content marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrable knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Sparktoro, Google Analytics, and more
