Position Overview:

The Data Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely insights that drive business decisions, while maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders. This role functions with a high degree of autonomy while receptive to more detailed direction when needed. It is responsible for managing data workflows across multiple systems and delivering timely, goal-oriented reporting. The position emphasizes informed decision-making and fosters strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support a cohesive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and validate scheduled reports to ensure data accuracy, integrity and on-time delivery
  • Utilize a collaborative Power BI (Pro License) environment to develop, share and manage interactive dashboards and reports across the organization
  • Apply advanced data analysis techniques using Python libraries (Polars, DuckDB, Pyarrow and Pandas) for efficient data wrangling and transformation
  • Gather, interpret and document BI requirements from stakeholders
  • Clean and maintain data from diverse sources (CSV, Parquet, Excel, databases etc.); convert into structured, analysis-ready datasets

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a data analyst or a related field
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, including DAX measures, data modeling, and Power Query transformations to deliver actionable business insights
  • Demonstrated mastery of dimensional modeling concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis
  • Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, VBA Macros etc.)
  • Experience working in POSIX-compliant environments (e.g., Linux, macOS), including writing shell scripts to support and automate data workflows.
  • Experience using Power Automate to support basic workflow automation, such as extracting files from emails and triggering alerts for ETL failures.
  • Experience delivering effective technical and user documentation for BI solutions
  • FP&A/Financial Business Intelligence Experience; background in finance/FP&A reporting is a strong asset
  • HR business intelligence experience
  • Experience with ERP systems and related data (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Professional communications skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and proven organization abilities
  • Solid BI project management skills
