We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Cypress QA Automation Engineer to enhance our QA automation initiative. In this role, you will leverage your experience to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Utilize your strong knowledge of key frameworks and languages such as and Javascript, Typescript to build robust and efficient automation solutions.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects effectively, and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Work closely with developers and other QA team members to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation, DevOps, and AI, applying this knowledge to drive improvements in test processes.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):
- Overall 6+ years of experience in test automation with at least 2+ yrs. of hands-on Cypress expertise and 2+ years in other automation tool.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for scripting automation tests.
- Must have experience working in agile teams using BDD, Cucumber, Gitlab and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with Postman or RestAssured (API).
- Should be well versed in DevOps and CI/CD implementation.
- Familiarity with test management tools like Azure DevOps Test Plan or JIRA.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Should work and support on-shore offshore model.
What will help you stand out (preferred skills):
- Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.
- Worked as an automation architect to devise enterprise level automation solutions and frameworks with the aptitude to research, learn and new tools/technologies.
