Content Marketing Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Brand & Communications, you will work closely with the CEO and be at the heart of executing many of our brand marketing efforts. You will be responsible for growing our top-of-funnel leads by promoting and enhancing both the Proposify brand and that of our CEO, Kyle Racki, across various digital platforms. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker AND doer who is adept at juggling multiple tasks and is passionate about storytelling, content creation, and audience engagement. If you have particular experience in B2B SaaS, even better.
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, energetic, scrappy, driven, and excited to contribute to and benefit from our company and our culture. A sense of humour is considered an asset.

What you’ll love doing:

  • Content Strategy & Calendar Management: Organize, schedule, and manage a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging and relevant content across multiple channels.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Curate and create compelling content, including selecting the best clips from podcasts and videos, writing engaging hooks, and crafting metadata like descriptions, promo images, and show notes.
  • Post-Production Systematization: Establish and maintain an efficient system for post-production tasks to ensure consistent content publishing.
  • Basic Graphic Design: Use basic graphic design skills to create digital promotional materials, carousels, and other simple visual content in tools like Figma, Canva, and Photoshop.
  • Contractor Coordination: Recruit and oversee contractors for video editing, graphics, writing, etc., ensuring high-quality content production.
  • Promotion & Redistribution: Actively promote and redistribute content across platforms, transforming it into quotes, blog articles, LinkedIn posts, email newsletters, X/Threads, Reels, Shorts, and more.
  • Platform-Specific Content Creation: Tailor content to suit the nuances of each social media platform, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Reddit, Quora, and email newsletters, and schedule their posting to be consistent and appropriate to the platform.
  • Podcast Guest Coordination: Identify and schedule interviews with podcast guests, enhancing the diversity, engagement, and reach of our content.
  • Podcast Outreach: Seek opportunities for Kyle or other team members to appear on other podcasts, expanding our network and reach.
  • Audience Research: Conduct thorough audience research to uncover topics and questions that resonate with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), using data from various sources including Quora, Reddit, and UserInterviews.
  • Engagement Tactics Management: Implement and manage engagement tactics to foster community growth and interaction.

What we’ll love about you:

  • Experience: Proven track record in content marketing with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to create and curate engaging content across multiple platforms that grow audiences. Minimum two years proven experience.
  • Innovative Thinking: You stay on top of platform, marketing, and tech trends and push our content to stay relevant, modern and engaging.
  • Skills: Excellent writing and editing, basic graphic design, and video editing skills. Exemplary organizational abilities to manage content calendars, contractors, and post-production tasks.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experienced with digital marketing tools and platforms necessary for content creation, scheduling, and analysis.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both for internal coordination and for crafting compelling content narratives.
  • Accountability: Ability to hold themselves and internal SMEs accountable, particularly in ensuring the consistent production of podcasts, videos, and other marketing pieces.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Can Take Direction: Implement feedback and instruction from team members.
  • Ability to get shit done: No explanation required.
