2024 ANNUAL FALL DINNER

Halifax Convention Centre 1650 Argyle St, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

ENERGY CREATION + STORAGE Let's power Nova Scotia towards a brighter tomorrow Dalhousie’s expert faculty and Halifax-based business partners will deliver a TED Talk-style presentation on the innovative and revolutionary work being done here in Halifax to deliver clean energy locally, nationally, and globally. As the world transitions towards sustainable practices, Nova Scotia is unique in its vast opportunities in the renewable energy sector. Our proximity to natural resources like our oceans, wind and natural gas allow us to harness the full potential of renewable energy in the province. This important and necessary move to electric and renewable energies will require double the energy usage in the coming years. To get there, we’ll need to explore emerging technologies, identify areas for collaboration and partnership, and accelerate and build the infrastructure for the transition. Is our grid ready? Join us at the 2024 Fall Dinner to discover how collaboration can unlock these resources, drive economic growth, and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future for the province.

As always, all are welcome, be they battle-hardened analysts, DC902 stalwarts, application security experts, or those new to the field. As we did last year, we are offering tickets for a minimum donation of $13.37 (we'll keep this price point as long as we possibly can). All proceeds will again go to Feed Nova Scotia, because grocery prices haven't gotten any better since last time. We are looking forward to seeing everyone mid November and are excited by the chance to hold the event at a larger venue.
