2024 Investor Summit

The Cape Breton Partnership Board and Staff are excited to announce that the 2024 Investor Summit, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Cape Breton Partnership, will be held on October 24, 2024, at the Inverary Resort on Baddeck Bay. The Summit is the only event in the region that provides the opportunity to share your organization’s message with more than 200 delegates who represent Unama’ki - Cape Breton’s diverse public and private sector. These job ready newcomers are internationally educated and experienced in a variety of professions, sectors and industries. The Welcome Home to Canada program is supported by the R. Howard Webster Foundation and RBC Foundation and provides six-month paid work experiences to eligible newcomers. With support from government and corporate funders and through community partnerships, the program has benefitted over 200 newcomers since 2004. Frag for Cancer

Frag for Cancer, founded in 2005 by someone who lost their father to cancer, has raised $190,000 over 17 years to support cancer research and provide aid to children and their families. As the largest esports event on the East Coast of Canada, Frag offers gamers a chance to make a difference while enjoying a positive gaming experience, keeping hope alive for those affected by cancer. Spectator pass $5. Cosplay pass $5 with entry into our cosplay contest. Team pass prices vary based on tournament registration.
