Cool off with STEM Connector at the Halifax Commons! About this event Celebrate the connections you made this summer at STEM Connector and join us in the Halifax Commons for freezies and frisbees. Bring your own snacks and blanket and meet STEM students and future colleagues for a relaxing outdoor social. About Us STEM Connector is a flash mentorship program connecting post-secondary STEM students with industry professionals, researchers, and other students for professional development. We work to provide short-term, meaningful connections with mentors and peers to work on specific skills in your field. STEM Connector is run through the MentorCity online platform, where you can choose your own mentor for short-term mentorship, schedule meeting times, and chat and collaborate with people across the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math spectrum. Our program runs three terms in a year with members able to sign up for one or more terms. STEM Connector fall term starts September 1, but you can join at any time.
