Creating an open and inclusive work environment that attracts and retains diverse talent has never been more essential to remain competitive. 2SLGBTQ+ people working in markets across Canada experience various workplace cultures and barriers to inclusion unique to this population. Despite progress toward wholly inclusive and diverse workplace environments, more must be done regarding stigmatization, higher risk of harassment, intersectionality, and lack of visibility, especially for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) people. This webinar aims to increase awareness and understanding of the challenges and barriers facing members of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities in the workplace and to provide practical steps for creating more inclusive and supportive work environments. 3 Key Takeaways.. Many individuals who experience discrimination based on their sexual orientation, race, religion, or ethnicity are forced to mask their true selves on a daily basis. About the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a new, employer-driven immigration program designed to address the labour gaps of employers in the Atlantic Provinces. AIP is a pathway for permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates who want to live and work in Atlantic Canada.
