This session is about businesses that want to use data to make decisions. As a group we will discuss the difficulties of accessing, linking, and reporting from multiple sources of data. Interactive Reports built in either Microsoft’s Power Pivot (Excel) or Power BI Desktop offer a shorter, straighter pathway to improve efficiency and accuracy. The best part is that Excel is on most computers, and experienced staff can quickly learn to use both products. Digital Nova Scotia has been helping the Tourism industry in Nova Scotia with digital marketing tools. Dunvegan will use a Restaurant example to demonstrate Interactive Reports to measure business activity and to help make more informed decisions.
