Some of the most pressing global issues at the frontier of the ocean-climate nexus are achieving net zero, developing sustainable food from the ocean, and protecting ocean biodiversity. In fact, despite considerable dialogue, adoption of Cloud remains at less than 10 per cent! TECHNATION put forward recommendations in 2015 and then again in 2019 calling on Government to accelerate Cloud adoption, prioritize in-house Cloud education and training, adopt a different operating model, and more. Unfortunately, Government remains hesitant to use leading-edge tech like Intelligent Automation to accelerate progress on delivering broader public policy objectives for Canada.
