About this event NOTE: The workshops provided by Invest Nova Scotia, in partnerships with Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) and Export Development Canada (EDC), are primarily available to businesses based in Nova Scotia. Overview BSides Halifax is back for 2025! Come join us for another great day of talks and treats as we celebrate the local infosec community. BSides Halifax is proud to announce our 5th (and definitely annual!) Halifax BSides conference! The event will once again be held in person on Thursday, November 13th, 2025, and we can’t wait to bring another full day of talks, networking, and community togetherness to Halifax’s security scene. We’re once again partnering with ShiftKey Labs and will be hosting the conference at Dalhousie University’s Computer Science Building. As always, everyone is welcome — whether you’re a seasoned analyst, an application security expert, or brand new to the field. Tickets will again be available for a minimum donation of $13.37, and we’ll keep that price point as long as we possibly can. This year, all proceeds will go to support the IWK Health Centre, helping improve care and outcomes for children and families across the maritimes. We’re expanding a bit this year too — in addition to coffee and snacks throughout the day, lunch will be provided for all attendees.
