Join us for the second Fall 2020 Women Leading Startups: Fireside Chat Series! There is a lot of exciting momentum going on in the startup community in Atlantic Canada and this is your chance to be part of it!
If you are currently an entrepreneur, considering starting your own business or want to use your skills to solve a problem but don’t know where to start, this series is for you! Join a safe community each month to hear from established women leading high growth startups in Canada. Ask questions, network with your peers, get advice and exchange ideas.
There will be one fireside chat each month. It will run 12:00 pm Atlantic time/12:30 pm NL time for one hour on Sept 29, Oct 20, and Nov. 24. Attend one chat or all three!
This series is supported and coordinated by the Canadian Ecosystem Gathering (CEG) in partnership with entrepreneurship centres in the following Atlantic Canadian universities:
We value diversity and inclusion and want to make sure we provide space for everyone interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. This series has been created especially for aspiring women, two-spirit, gender minorities, and non-binary students and the community who are exploring entrepreneurship.
We are excited to offer virtual childcare services for these events to support entrepreneurial parents. Each session will be run by a qualified and experienced kindergarten teacher or experienced caregiver. Each session will be themed (crafts, storytelling, legos, drawing, etc.) and will be available in a group of up to six children aged between 4 to 8. As an initiative supported by Memorial University, space is limited and priority will be given to Memorial students. You will be asked to indicate if you wish to use this service when you reserve your ticket. If there are no bookings 24 hours prior to the event, the service will not be available.
