User Experience (UX) has a long history of being measurable and showing a return on investment (ROI). UX is very quickly becoming a competitive advantage for companies competing on the global stage, yet many companies have yet to make any investment in this area of expertise.

Good UX can help:

In this 4-day program, you will:

• Learn key UX design methodologies and processes that you can apply to your current project workflow through a mix of theory and hands-on learning
• How to implement an accessible UX design process for the design (or redesign) of your product
• Help raise organizational awareness and maturity through design

Who should attend?

• Individuals or teams that work on the design, development, research, content or management of websites, mobile apps, or other digital products

Location: Online, Zoom
Format: The course will include presentations and online group breakout sessions using Zoom, with the live chat feature available during lessons. Due to moving online, there will be an additional hour available per participant for 1:1 coaching at the end of the course.

Eligibility

This program has been fully funded through Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI), and will be provided FREE for DNS members with less than 50 employees. If your company has more than 50 employees, 50% of program costs will be funded. You must meet all eligibility requirements to take part in this opportunity.

• Be operating within the tech sector as a tech business
• Be Located in Nova Scotia and be registered with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stocks or incorporated by an act of the Nova Scotia legislature
• Be in business for at least one year
• Have at least 25,000 dollars in wages or owner remuneration (this is not revenue; this is wages paid out either to employees or to the owner)
• Be a DNS member prior to the program start date

His industry experience has included private and public sector organizations with a focus on financial, insurance, travel & tourism, sports, startups, and governments.
