Meet your moderator: Otni Chinenere
Otni Chinenere is a vibrant and dynamic communicator, entrepreneur, and community leader based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As the founder of Taura Communications, Otni is passionate about helping individuals overcome communication barriers such as fear, self-doubt, cultural differences enabling them to express their authentic voices with confidence and empowering them to express their ideas effectively in any situation. Through Taura, Otniprovides persons with lifelong communication skills that extend beyond their professional lives into enriching their personal relationships, enhancing their leadership abilities, as well as fostering overall personal development.

With nearly a decade of experience hosting events and moderating impactful discussions, Otni has facilitated powerful panels, including the Mayoral Candidates Discussion with Community, and hosted a wide range of events that inspire and engage audiences. Her ability to connect with diverse groups has made her a sought-after moderator and facilitator, known for creating safe, dynamic spaces for meaningful conversations.

Tinu Bruchanova is President and Chief Business Strategist at MediaBonnet, a full-service paid media agency that helps marketers maximize their advertising impact. With 18 years of global IT experience driving customer-centric growth for startups and large-scale enterprises, Tinu combines her passion for business efficiency and sustainable growth to craft successful, insight-driven, and measurable marketing campaigns.


 

 

 

Tadi Kadango is a Zimbabwean-born cybersecurity professional at GoSecure and a content creator based in the United States. Driven by a passion for tech, specifically in ethical hacking, Tadi shares his journey in cybersecurity through engaging YouTube content, inspiring aspiring professionals to forge their own paths rather than adhering to rigid, traditional guidelines. His commitment to empowering others led him to launch Navigating Security, a newsletter dedicated to helping individuals confidently explore and navigate the world of cybersecurity through his writing. 

 

Martino DeLeon is a proud descendant of the founders of the historic Black communities of Gibson Woods and Beechville. Martino displayed a natural aptitude for technology from an early age, often experimenting with coding during his teen years. Martino participated in the Matrix Code program through One North End, which provided a strong foundation for re-entering the industry after stepping away from it for some time. The program spring-boarded his jump back in to tech as he then pursued a data analytics program through NPower, expanding his skillset and ultimately helping him secure his current role as a Junior Data Analyst at Ubisoft, realizing a lifelong aspiration to work in the video game industry.
