SR&ED (Scientific Research & Experimental Development) is a tax incentive program from the government of Canada, which can provide a rebate for incorporated Canadian companies conducting research and development activities. This is an incredible program for product based startups to take advantage of, with companies able to recoup up to 80% of the costs of their R&D! It may sound too good to be true, so proper planning is key to reap these benefits.
