An inspiring introduction to the mindfulness-based emotional intelligence training program developed at Google and backed by cutting edge research in the field of neuroscience, this practical presentation helps to improve focus and empathy to harness individual and team engagement and potential.

It’s through developing our intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence that individuals and organizations can build a culture of effective leadership and strong collaboration. The SIY program teaches how and where to use our attention to foster peak performance and flow, both for ourselves and within our teams.

This session including lunch will provide attendees with practical tools for focus, self-awareness and resilience.

Facilitator: Bryan W. Burns

Bryan is President of HRO Core Inc. and a Certified Teacher with San Francisco based Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI). Search Inside Yourself (SIY) programs were born at Google and teach tools for focus, self-awareness and resilience. Bryan has also worked in the field of emotional intelligence and has decades of experience practicing and teaching mindfulness and yoga – initially connecting with mindfulness as a sprint canoer. He has a Masters in E-Commerce from Dalhousie and has been an entrepreneur for 20 years. Nowadays he still loves paddling his SUP board when he’s not with his family Ella and one year old baby Jasper.
