Are you interested in growing your business and advancing your innovation goals at a reduced financial cost? If so, join us for a Lunch + Learn on February 19 at noon to learn more about Mitacs, a national research-funding agency dedicated to solving business problems and driving innovation in Canada.
Kathleen Mifflin, a Business Development Specialist for Mitacs, will provide an overview of the programs they offer that allow you to access international markets, maximize your investment in research and development, and/or reduce your risk of accessing and hiring research expertise.
In this Lunch + Learn, we will explore some of these programs in detail, hear from businesses who have successfully executed research projects with the help of Mitacs, and answer any and all questions on how to get started on your own project!
The Presenter:
Kathleen Mifflin, works as a Business Development Specialist for Mitacs. Having graduated with a Master’s from Dalhousie University, she has close ties to the school and the various state-of-the-art research facilities that it houses. In her role at Mitacs, she has further developed these relationships, particularly with Computer Science researchers whose areas of expertise include: big data analytics, machine learning, information visualization, network design and optimization, cybersecurity, human computer interaction, and much more.
