AI and Machine learning in the Ocean with DeepSense
November 6, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am AST
Lunch will be provided!
Learn about how artificial intelligence and machine learning is being applied in the ocean sector. DeepSense was created to support organizations with resources, both technology infrastructure and skilled researchers, to solve big data challenges at ocean-related organizations. By partnering companies with skilled academic researchers, those working in the ocean space have the opportunity to fully explore AI and machine learning to more easily use data to make decisions, optimize operations or better use data to create new products and services. DeepSense projects help companies develop commercially-useful predictive models, or design and test analytical prototypes and applications for use in the blue economy. DeepSense is a partnership between ACOA, the NS Government, Dalhousie University, IBM and the Ocean Frontier Institute.
