Benjamin Bergen is the President of the Council of Canadian Innovators, a national, non-partisan business council for the 21st century economy, led by over 150 CEOs of Canada’s fastest growing homegrown technology scale-ups. CCI is focused on optimizing the growth of Canada’s innovation-based sector, and Benjamin leads the execution of its ambitious economic development agenda.
Judith’s passion for international trade led her to earn the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation from FITT. She is currently working as an Export Development Executive for Invest Nova Scotia, focusing on the ICT sector, and helping companies grow through targeted programs that enhance productivity and drive business growth. With extensive experience managing projects such as an Energy Innovation initiative that supported indigenous communities in clean energy efforts aligned with the Paris Agreement, Judith has proven expertise in driving impactful, sustainable initiatives. She has also led successful trade missions, handling matchmaking, logistics, and organization across Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, the EU, and Greenland. Previously, as a Project Manager at Digital Nova Scotia, Judith developed and implemented career-building programs designed to meet the talent demands in the Atlantic region, with a strong focus on upskilling, reskilling, and digital workforce training. Born in Mexico City and raised in a family that valued diversity, culture, and global experiences, Judith is fluent in both Spanish and English. She has proudly called Nova Scotia home for over twenty-seven years.
