About the Opportunity
As a Linux System Administrator, you will represent 45Drives as one of our Data Storage Specialists. You’ll be the go-to person for customers, solving technical issues and building strong relationships. It’s all about using your expertise to solve problems and educate customers! In this role, you will:
Manage customer inquiries through our service ticket system, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues with a customer-focused approach.
Apply critical reasoning to understand and solve diverse customer challenges.
Develop technical documentation and customer resources to enhance service quality.
Troubleshoot network components (bonding, subnetting, routing) to ensure reliable customer experiences.
Configure and maintain high-performance storage systems using Linux commands and ZFS.
Collaborate with the team on process improvements to meet both customer and internal needs.
Ensure data security, backups, and system integrity to build and maintain customer trust.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, tackling new challenges every day while helping our customers succeed. Whether you’re troubleshooting a configuration issue or creating a valuable knowledge resource, our ideal candidate brings a balance of technical expertise and a passion for exceptional customer service who enjoys working with people. Graduation from an IT related program or field or relative experience required.
