We at Digital Nova Scotia recognize that technical skills are only half of what makes a successful ICT employee. Non-technical skills, often referred to as “soft” skills, are vital to the growth and cohesion of technology organizations.
This is why we are developing a framework to assess and recognize key non-technical competencies that are deemed relevant and in demand in the digital sector. This project will complement the current Changing Perspectives project, and support a more holistic assessment of both the technical and non-technical skills of current and future employees.
