Hoist sessions are led by industry experts and are designed to help teens explore and expand their interests in technology and entrepreneurship. Workshops develop skills in design, coding, game development, and much more.
Hoist sessions take place once a month (except for July, August and December) and are targeted at teens ages 12 to 19.
Topics change each month and are based on current trends, as well as the needs and interests of Hoist participants. This helps make each session unique and fun for the participants.
June’s Topic: Designing an App
During this fun and interactive session we will work together and go through the design thinking process. Entrepreneurs use design thinking for solving problems to help best understand what their customers are looking for.
At the end of the session you will have drawn out your ideal app and will have the opportunity to build it when Hoist kicks off again in the fall!
