Here, at Digital Nova Scotia we’re super excited to introduce you to the newest member of our team – Vimbayi Handara!
Vimbayi joins us as our new Project Coordinator, leading our training and skill building activities. Born in Zimbabwe, Vimbayi has lived in Swaziland and Zambia before heading back to her hometown. In 2017, she moved to Canada to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, to experience different cultures from her own and to meet new people. She’s had the joy of working in project planning with different organizations and groups in her previous roles and looks forward to facilitating amazing tech programs with us here at Digital Nova Scotia. When asked to describe herself, Vimbayi shares that she’s a simple girl who enjoys the simple pleasure of life. You can find her watching the sunset on citadel hill or swimming at Long Lake in her spare time.
Here’s a few questions to help you get to know Vimbayi a little better!
What excites you the most about the tech sector in Nova Scotia? Is there an area that interests you the most?
It’s amazing to see how the tech sector has changed all around the world and specifically in Nova Scotia. I wanted to be a part of the movement and shift the digital world is having. I have always had a personal interest in it myself so I am excited to facilitate and be a part of the programming at DNS.
