Atlantic Canada goes ALL IN on AI with 2026 trade delegation

Atlantic Canada’s artificial intelligence sector is heading to Montréal.On September 16 and 17, Digital Nova Scotia, with the support of Nukleo, will lead 37 organizations from across the region toALL IN 2026, Canada’s largest artificial intelligence event.The Atlantic AI Trade Mission attracted significant interest, receiving 65+ applications from companies across Atlantic Canada. The organizations selected to attend represent Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador — and reflect the breadth of AI expertise growing throughout the region.Bringing together more than 6,500 founders, investors, researchers, enterprise leaders and policymakers from over 40 countries, ALL IN offers participating companies the opportunity to build international connections, explore new markets and showcase their work on a global stage.

Supporting Atlantic Canadian companies on the global stage

The Atlantic AI Trade Mission contributes to the goals of the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy, a collaborative, pan-Atlantic approach designed to help businesses begin exporting, increase international sales, expand into new markets and attract foreign investment.Financial support for the mission is provided in part through the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Agreement between the Government of Canada and the governments of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.The mission is delivered by Digital Nova Scotia. Representatives from Invest Nova Scotia, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, DeepSense, Opportunities New Brunswick, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Government of Prince Edward Island, techNL and Innovation PEI will also join the delegation in Montréal.The mission is also supported by Nukleo, which has joined as a Presenting Partner of the AI Innovation Showcase Breakfast taking place on the second day of ALL IN. The showcase will give members of the Atlantic Canadian delegation an opportunity to highlight their work and the AI solutions being developed across the region.

Throughout the two-day event, delegates will have opportunities to connect with prospective buyers, investors and strategic partners, participate in business-to-business matchmaking, and showcase their work through a coordinated Atlantic Canadian presence.They will also be able to use the Atlantic Canada Pavilion as a home base for meetings, demos and conversations, putting the region’s growing AI ecosystem at the centre of the action.

Building on a successful 2025 mission

Last year’s Atlantic AI Trade Mission demonstrated what can happen when the region shows up together.The 2025 delegation included 33 Atlantic Canadian organizations, which participated in 239 business meetings and secured 91 follow-up discussions. Those connections generated a reported $7.76 million in short-term sales, investment and funding opportunities, along with $55.88 million in potential long-term opportunities.This year’s delegation will build on that momentum, creating new opportunities for Atlantic Canadian companies while highlighting the innovative AI solutions being developed and applied across the region.Digital Nova Scotia is proud to help bring these organizations together and share the strength of Atlantic Canada’s AI ecosystem with the world.
