Atlantic Canada’s tech community made a powerful impression at ALL IN 2025, the country’s largest artificial intelligence event, held earlier this month in Montreal. The Atlantic AI Trade Mission, led by Digital Nova Scotia in partnership with Invest Nova Scotia, Opportunities New Brunswick, and regional innovation hubs, brought together 33 AI-focused companies from across the region to connect, collaborate and showcase their innovations on a national stage.
The two-day conference drew 4,000+ participants and 200+ speakers from around the world, offering attendees a dynamic mix of workshops, curated content tracks and high-impact networking events. For many, the experience opened doors to new business opportunities and global partnerships.
Collectively, participating companies reported taking part in 236 meetings during the event — with nearly 100 follow-up business meetings already scheduled — underscoring the mission’s tangible impact in driving connections and commercial outcomes. These interactions are already translating into real business potential, with participating companies expecting to generate more than $63 million in combined short- and long-term outcomes.
“ALL IN helped our company gain broader visibility for our robotics and other technologies than would have been possible solely through our individual efforts,” said Compusult Inc.’s Paul Mitten. “It also allowed us to identify a few new potential markets for our products and services.”
“The ALL IN conference booth and pass, coordinated by Digital NS, was a great conference that allowed us to meet with potential investors, potential clients and partners,” said James Davison, co-founder of LaunchPal Inc., a company that helps organizations accelerate their marketing with AI. “It was nice to be immersed in an AI-centric forum and interact with others building leading-edge businesses across the country.”
Beyond conference programming, participating companies benefited from curated B2B meetings, investor matchmaking, and exclusive networking opportunities with global buyers, venture capitalists, and AI experts. The mission also helped amplify awareness of Atlantic Canada’s growing AI ecosystem, positioning the region as a leader in applied innovation and talent.
“Participating in the ALL IN event was an outstanding experience for NoCodeEngineering,” said David Kershaw. “It provided an incredible opportunity to connect with peers across the automation and AI ecosystem and exchange ideas on how our work fits into a rapidly-evolving landscape. The talks and presentations were insightful and forward-looking, highlighting real business applications of AI technology. The event offered both deep technical exposure and tangible opportunities for growth — a perfect setting for meaningful conversations and future collaborations.”
Supported through funding from the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy (ATIGS), this is one of three trade missions led by Digital Nova Scotia. In August, in partnership with XP Gaming Inc., we led an Atlantic Canada delegation to Gamescom 2025 — the world’s largest video game industry event. Our presence was strong, with 9 participating studios engaging in more than 150 meetings, generating 70+ high-potential leads and opening nearly $3 million in prospective deals.
Building on the momentum from ALL IN and Gamescom, Digital Nova Scotia is already gearing up for its next opportunity to showcase Atlantic innovation on the international stage. This December, the organization will lead a delegation of 10 SaaS and AI-oriented companies to SaaStr AI London — one of Europe’s most influential events for SaaS and AI founders, executives, and investors — taking place December 1–2, 2025.
These Trade Missions contribute to the goals and objectives of the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy, a collaborative, pan-Atlantic approach to help Atlantic businesses begin exporting, increase their export sales, expand to new markets, and attract foreign direct investment. The Strategy was developed jointly by the governments of Canada, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
