Senior Business Systems Analyst

Position Description: We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the analysis, design and delivery of digital solutions. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements and designs while supporting solution validation throughout the delivery lifecycle. Experience with Incident Case Management (ICM) or similar case management solutions is a strong asset. Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and stakeholder workshops.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create functional designs, mockups, workflows, user flows, reports and/or web service requirements.
• Collaborate with business, development, product and QA teams throughout solution delivery.
• Support Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business requirements.
• Support requirements traceability and defect resolution.
• Produce clear business and technical documentation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Functional Analysis or a similar software delivery role.
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, functional analysis and solution design.
• Proven workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience creating mockups, workflows, user flows and functional documentation.
• Experience defining acceptance criteria and supporting Functional Testing, SIT and UAT.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and documentation skills.

Assets

• Experience with Incident Case Management (ICM), LaMPSS or similar case management solutions.
• Experience with public sector or citizen-facing digital services.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum or product delivery teams.
• Experience with usability testing and interpreting user research findings.
• Experience creating SQL-based queries.
• Experience with requirements traceability and defect management.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000–$125,000. This role is an existing vacancy. #LI-OA1 Skills:
