Customer Success Designer - Professional Services

The Role: Proposify is looking to build a small pool of talented freelance Customer Success Designers who can support our in-house Professional Services team on an as-needed, project-by-project basis. As a Customer Success Designer, your primary focus will be designing and delivering custom proposal templates for Proposify customers, as well as supporting internal design projects when needed. You’ll become an expert in the Proposify platform and use your design expertise to create highly functional, polished, and brand-specific proposal templates that help our customers get the most out of Proposify. This is a flexible, project-based contract opportunity rather than a regularly scheduled position. There are no guaranteed hours or ongoing retainer commitments. Projects will be offered based on business needs, project volume, your skills and experience, and your availability. What You’ll Do and Love Doing:

• Design original, custom proposal templates for Proposify customers based on their brand guidelines, content, and business requirements.
• Create and support templates and other design assets for internal Proposify projects as needed.
• Become highly proficient in the Proposify platform and use its functionality to build templates that are both visually engaging and highly functional.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and other members of the Professional Services team to understand customer needs, project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Translate customer branding and creative direction into professional, brand-aligned proposal designs.
• Manage assigned design projects from initial requirements through revisions and final delivery.
• Incorporate customer and internal feedback while maintaining strong design standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members and, where required, customers through email and virtual meetings.
• Support the team in answering design- and template-related customer questions.
• Manage project timelines and deliver agreed-upon work within established deadlines.
• Take on additional ad hoc design responsibilities related to the Customer Success Designer role as business needs arise.

What We Love About You:

• Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities, attention to detail, typography, layout, and ability to work within established brands.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing client-facing design projects.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate brand guidelines into polished, professional designs.
• Ability to work independently, manage your workload, and meet agreed-upon project deadlines.
• Comfort working within established processes while remaining adaptable and open to changing priorities or requirements.
• Ability to receive, incorporate, and provide candid and constructive feedback on design work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a remote environment.
• Comfort learning new software and becoming proficient with design tools and functionality within the Proposify platform.

How the Contract Engagement Works: This opportunity is designed for freelance designers looking for flexible, project-based work. Proposify will maintain a small pool of contract designers who may be contacted when additional design capacity is required. When a project becomes available, we'll connect with you to confirm the scope, expected timeline, and your availability. Please note:

• Work is offered on an as-needed, project-by-project basis.
• There are no guaranteed minimum hours.
• There is no guaranteed volume or frequency of projects.
• There is no ongoing retainer commitment.
• You may accept projects based on your availability.
• Project timelines and expectations will be established when individual assignments are offered.
• The volume of available work may fluctuate based on customer demand and business needs.
• Compensation: $65 CAD/hour, plus applicable taxes, invoiced upon project completion based on approved hours; any hours beyond the agreed project scope must be approved in advance.
