DESCRIPTION:Join us for an engaging AI Workshop hosted by H10AI. \nThe workshop is designed to provide a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications. By the end of this workshop\, you’ll confidently be able to define AI and understand when it should and shouldn’t be implemented. \nParticipants will also have an opportunity to register for a free 30-minute consultation. They will examine your current processes and systems to identify areas of inefficiency and potential for automation\, while also exploring the use of AI-driven tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency. \nPresenters \nHelmut Neher – CEO \nHelmut Neher has worked both in academia and private enterprise doing research and implementing Artificial Intelligence. He has experience implementing algorithms ranging in CNNs\, LSTMS\, TCN and research concepts including curriculum learning\, pose estimation\, segmentation\, action recognition\, and explainable AI. He has led 20+ AI projects across over a dozen industries. Helmut has a Masters Degree in Machine Learning from the University of Waterloo. \nDillon Kearl – COO \nDillon is a former Management Consultant and passionate Entrepreneur. He has built and ran his own technology businesses. He understands how to connect business needs to technology implementation. He developed a proprietary assessment for evaluating when to implement AI and the associated return on investment. Dillon holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Lethbridge.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 6th and 7th for IGNITE’s first Food Automation Workshop event and learn about automation in Seafood & Aquaculture!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nOn October 6th and 7th\, IGNITE will host the first Atlantic Food Automation Workshop event to learn more about the Seafood & Aquaculture industry. \nThroughout Fall 2021\, IGNITE will host the Atlantic Food Automation Program across the pan-atlantic provinces. Each of these workshops will focus on a different food industry\, highlighting the automation and digital advancements that are available in Atlantic Canada. Attending this event will give you access to automation firms and digital experts that can help grow your business and reduce the strain of labour shortages. Join us as we learn more about the products and services on the market\, hear from organizations about their funding programs and tour automated facilities. \nThis two-day event will consist of virtual and in-person elements\, due to COVID-19 restrictions this event will only allow 25 attendees in-person. (Masks will be mandatory at all in-person events.) \nLocation: This event will be held at IGNITE in Yarmouth\, Nova Scotia. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
