Soumya Markandeya is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Aritra Consulting Inc. and a Certified Management Consultant with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations navigate complex transformation, technology and change.

Her career has spanned the public, private and not-for-profit sectors across Canada, including national business consulting leadership and extensive experience in Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. Her work brings together strategy, people, process and technology to translate ambitious ideas into practical, sustainable outcomes.

Beyond her consulting work, Soumya serves on the national executive of CMC-Canada and contributes to the community through board leadership in both the professional and arts sectors. A committed mentor and advocate for developing future talent, she also contributes her time and experience through mentorship, industry panels and community initiatives across Nova Scotia’s business and technology ecosystem.
