Ashley leads marketing and communications at Digital Nova Scotia, shaping how the organization shares its impact, connects with Nova Scotia’s tech community and brings the stories of its members and partners to life.

Before joining Digital Nova Scotia, Ashley spent nearly a decade as a broadcast journalist, producer and anchor with CTV News and Global News. Throughout her career, she covered everything from national breaking news to politics, courts, healthcare and community stories across Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia. That experience continues to shape her approach today: finding the people at the heart of a story and making complex ideas clear, engaging and accessible.

Originally from Winnipeg, Ashley is a graduate of Red River College’s Creative Communications program, where she studied journalism, public relations, advertising and media production. She moved to Nova Scotia with her husband in 2019 and now calls Halifax home with their two children and two dogs.
