This course is ideal for experienced business analysis professionals with at least 5 years of practical work experience.This course will help qualified professionals prepare for the CBAP certification exam and maximize the impact of their certification on their professional profile.Please note: To qualify for the CBAP Certification Examination, participants must have:

  • Minimum 7,500 hours of business analysis work experience aligned with the BABOK Guide in the last 10 years
  • Minimum 900 hours in four of the six knowledge areas (Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation and Collaboration, Requirements Life Cycle Management, Strategy Analysis, Requirements Analysis, and Design Definition Solution Evaluation)
  • 35 hours of professional development in the last 4 years
  • Two references from a career manager, client, or CBAP recipient

Oge Nwachukwu, CBAP, PMP, PROSCI, CPOA, is a certified business analysis professional with over a decade of experience in organizational transformation. Her multifaceted background as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Organizational Change Manager uniquely positions her to deliver comprehensive CBAP exam preparation and professional development training.

Oge has supported diverse organizations in improving and digitizing their business processes, as well as implementing various enterprise and line-of-business technology solutions. Her hands-on experience aligns with the BABOK Guide knowledge areas.

As the Director of Professional Development for the IIBA Nova Scotia Chapter, Oge has a deep understanding of the CBAP certification process and the skills required to excel in the field of business analysis. Her role in shaping professional development initiatives for IIBA members demonstrates her commitment to advancing the business analysis profession.

Her teaching methodology combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, leveraging her wealth of real-world experience to bring BABOK concepts to life.

How it Works

Digital Nova Scotia will facilitate the funding process based on the information provided in the application below. Employees must be receiving full-time compensation while in training to be eligible for WIPSI funding. This may include employees who are full-time seasonal.

To apply your organization must

  • Be a Digital Nova Scotia member prior to the program start date.
  • Be a legally registered business, industry association, sector council, or non-profit organization operating in Nova Scotia.

Funding

  • Members are eligible for funding for up to 75% of direct training costs
  • Up to a maximum of $10,000, any amount over $10,000 is cost-shared at 50%.
  • The cost for this program with the funding support would be $655 + HST
