Helping us shine a light on our industry, Brianna is a bright individual with extensive experience and passion for building relationships. Ready to jump right in, Brianna is organized, goal oriented and adaptable with a Bachelor of Public Relations and love for our growing industry!
We asked Brianna a few quick questions so that we could all get to know her a little better:
Brianna, can you tell us about yourself?
I am originally from Cape Breton (Glace Bay), and I moved to Halifax in 2007 to study Public Relations at Mount Saint Vincent University. During university, I completed co-op terms with Transport Canada, Nova Scotia Environment and The Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. After I graduated, I worked as the Senior Development Coordinator at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Atlantic Division for six years.
I love living in Nova Scotia and exploring everything this beautiful province has to offer.
You're a self-proclaimed relationship-enthusiast, what do you love about working with people?
I love learning new things from different people with different perspectives and sharing information and ideas.
The tech sector in Nova Scotia is thriving, what are you most looking forward to about working in this industry?
Having the opportunity to learn as much as possible about the industry and its endless possibilities with regards to connection and advancement.
So, it's your first day, what has been the best part?
Discovering DNS staff are as funny as they are clever.
What’s something you’re really interested in that might surprise us?
I am really interested in biodiversity and environmental conservation.
If you were given a plane ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
Portugal.
