This unique event provides up-and-coming entrepreneurs and startups the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of venture capitalists from industry heavyweights like Real Ventures, OMERS Ventures and Vanedge Capital. BDO’s VC Day is no mere pitch competition. Our VCs have set no cap on the number of groups they will invest in and are looking for the next best Canadian ideas. How does VC Day work? The panel of venture capitalists will select 10 to 12 startups in each city to pitch their ideas on VC Day. All applicants will be invited to attend a networking session the day before the event itself. Each group will have 10 minutes to pitch, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with our panel of investors.
