Call for AI-Driven Prototypes 

Closing date: July 22, 2025, 14:00 Eastern Time

The Government of Canada is seeking pre-commercial, AI-enabled prototypes for real-world testing. These innovations should support a range of government priorities in the following two areas:

Robotic Process Automation and Automated Decision Making

The rapid development of artificial intelligence and RPA presents new opportunities to transform public service operations. We are interested in testing adaptable technologies that can:

  • Automate administrative workflows
  • Capture and process data more efficiently
  • Support decision-making through recommendations

These solutions should aim to streamline internal processes and enhance service delivery across departments.

C4ISR Technologies

They are also seeking enterprise-level IT system solutions to strengthen Canada’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (C4ISR) capabilities. Priorities include:

  • Enhancing Allied communication systems
  • Integrating Joint Targeting platforms
  • Increasing the resilience of Canadian Armed Forces infrastructure
  • Adopting next-generation technologies to support intelligence and surveillance efforts

They are interested in innovations in the following areas:

  • Sensor and surveillance systems
  • Multi-sensor data fusion
  • Data patterning and exploitation
  • Communications technologies
