PDS 2018 Call for Speakers Now Open!

The 2018 PDS Call for Speakers is Now Open!
Are you doing something innovative?
Do you have a passion for sharing your tech talent with others?
The Program Committee is now actively seeking speakers to present at the annual Professional Development Summit on April 24, 2018. The PD Summit is an annual event that brings together our IT industry, from practitioners to senior managers - taking a collaborative approach to increasing our region’s competitive advantage! We are looking for professionals and leaders to bring forward high-quality presentations with best practices, approaches, and techniques - topics must relate to the following tracks:
Innovation and Technology
Our industry is fast paced and quick to change - this track will highlight amazing innovations and new technologies that could transform our industries in the next 3-5 years. If you are a technology vendor or specialist, this is your opportunity to showcase how your technology, or technology as a whole, can help address tomorrow's challenges.
PD in Management & Leadership
PDS is always looking for quality speakers to present leading edge IT trends or IT Management topics.
Small "Mini" Panels
We're inviting two individuals with similar or competing perspectives to host a panel/open conversation on key topics. We have one-hour slots and the topic can be anything related to innovation and technology!
The goal of this year’s PD Summit is to help evolve the future of current and upcoming employees in the technology industry. Professional Development can often be seen as an individual or company-wide activity, but we believe that by developing skills of our people within the province we are working towards advancing and enhancing the impact on our industry as a whole.
If you’re the person that we are looking for or if you know a technology leader in your industry, please click here for more information!
Please note, presentation abstracts must be submitted online by January 15, 2018.
