Ocean Startup Challenge: Problem-Solvers Wanted!

Turn your idea or technology into a wave of opportunity.
The Ocean Startup Project is a pan-Atlantic collaboration between six Atlantic Canadian organizations that believe Canada is the best place to launch and grow an ocean technology company. They've launched the Ocean Startup Challenge to support individuals and teams who are developing technologies that have large market potential. During the initial phase of the Ocean Startup Challenge, up to 10 prizes of $25,000 and business support will be provided to the winning startups and scaleups. Applicants who are not selected as winners will still benefit from training during invite-only bootcamps and guidance and support from partnering organizations in the Atlantic Canadian ecosystem. The Ocean Startup Project is looking for diverse entrepreneurs and innovators from rural, Indigenous and urban communities across Canada, and internationally, who have innovative solutions to ocean industry problems. With the world’s longest coastline, globally renowned research facilities and experts, and a steady flow of talent, Canada is the right place to start or grow a successful ocean tech company. Don’t miss out on the projected $3-trillion ocean economy. There has never been a better time to leverage the opportunities and resources available in the ocean sector. The Ocean Startup Challenge is designed to support innovators who are developing technologies that can be applied to large ocean problems.
