Multi-sector business-to-business trade mission to San Jose, Costa Rica and Kingston, Jamaica

The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Mount Saint Vincent University’s Centre for Women in Business are coordinating a multi-sector business-to-business trade mission for a group of Atlantic Canadian exporters to San Jose, Costa Rica and Kingston, Jamaica. This trade initiative will consist of 3 full-days of scheduled business to business meetings in San Jose, Costa Rica (May 23, 24, 25th) and 3 days of business to business meetings in Kingston, Jamaica (May 28, 29, 30th). The mission will include participation from new and experienced exporters from diverse backgrounds for both products and services.
The main objective of this initiative is to provide participating Atlantic Canadian companies with prospective business opportunities in the Costa Rica and/or Jamaican markets. It is expected that the leveraged momentum and historical successes of Atlantic Canadian companies in the Caribbean and Central American regions will allow current exporters to grow the scope and size of exports to Costa Rica and Jamaica while also allowing exporters that are new to the region to enter the market more successfully.
