Member News! VERB Interactive Wins Digital Business with Destination British Columbia

HALIFAX, NS — VERB Interactive today announced it has won the web development business of Destination British Columbia, the official tourism and travel marketing organization for British Columbia, Canada.
The work includes the privilege of partnering with Destination BC on its web application and platform development and maintenance services.
“It’s a big step—and a perfect partnership—with a dream client,” says Andy MacLellan, president and founder of VERB. “We’re thrilled to find new ways to help Destination BC share and promote one of the most beautiful places in Canada, and we can’t wait to get started.”
VERB’s digital marketing experience in hospitality, tourism, and travel markets around the world—including a growing presence in B.C. and the western U.S.—positioned the firm to contend in familiar territory and they’re excited to grow their team in B.C.
“Our team exceeds 100 people—including some of the best developers, writers, creative staff, and UX designers in the business—who want to work on the coolest projects and the greatest accounts in travel,” says MacLellan. “We look forward to opening an office in B.C. in the coming months and strengthening our team with local talent.”VERB recently launched a new web platform for Tourism Victoria, and with a portfolio that includes other premium clients like Royal Caribbean International, Azamara Club Cruises, Pebble Beach, Nassau Paradise Island, Starwood Hotel Group, and Hilton Head Island, their impressive client list of global travel brands continues to grow.
“We change how people experience travel by reimagining the entire digital path,” says MacLellan. “We want to make sure users have an inspiring, engaging process from dreaming, to looking, to booking. It’ll be a pleasure to help share British Columbia’s story with the world.”
“Destination BC is very excited to be working with VERB interactive. They completely impressed us with their talent, energy, expertise and strategic vision of the tourism marketing space,” says Maya Lange, Vice President, Global Marketing at Destination BC.
