Invest Nova Scotia launches Market Exploration Program (MEP) Mexico

We’re excited to share that Invest Nova Scotia, in partnership with ACOA and the Atlantic Provinces, has officially launched the Market Exploration Program (MEP) Mexico. This new initiative, under the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Strategy (ATIGS), is designed to help Atlantic Canadian digital health companies explore opportunities in one of the world’s fastest-growing healthcare markets.

Why Mexico?
Mexico’s healthcare sector is expanding rapidly, creating strong demand for innovative digital solutions. The country’s growing economic importance was highlighted during Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s recent visit, demonstrating global confidence in the Mexican market.

Through MEP Mexico, Atlantic Canadian companies can align their solutions with local market needs, accelerate export sales, and build long-term business relationships with both public and private healthcare organizations.

Program Highlights:

  • Eligibility: Open to Atlantic Canadian digital health companies with a validated product and proven market fit.
  • Phases & Fees:
    • Phase 1: Education & Preparation (Virtual, Nov 2025) – $150 + HST*
    • Phase 2: Market Entry (In-Market, Jan–Mar 2026) – $800 + HST*
  • Activities Include: Tailored workshops, expert consulting, up to 10 targeted B2B meetings, site visits, and a Canadian Embassy networking reception in Mexico City.
