Digital Discovery Camp Returns to Spryfield Through Online Delivery

Digital Nova Scotia and the Discovery Centre are thrilled to announce that we will be offering a Digital Discovery Camp Online for children living in Spryfield! Two years ago, MLA Brendan Maguire connected with us about his goal of bringing IT and tech opportunities to youth in Spryfield and surrounding areas. As a father, introducing kids to educational and life-changing opportunities has always been a priority for Brendan, and he knew that a Digital Discovery Camp would be a perfect fit for his community.

In 2019, Brendan and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development were able to offer 15 FREE Bursary Spots for the Spryfield Digital Discovery Camp. We're thrilled to announce that this summer, Brendan and his community partners are able to provide 15 FREE bursary spots for Digital Discovery Camp Online, Spryfield! “We had such positive feedback from the camp last year and so I am pleased to be teaming up with Digital Nova Scotia and the Discovery Centre yet again. A unique camp like this exposes our local youth to technology and opens so many doors. It's opportunities like these that can lead to a future career in the IT sector and I'm pleased to play a small part in making this possible.” [fusion_separator style_type="none" hide_on_mobile="small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility" class="" id="" sep_color="" top_margin="" bottom_margin="10" border_size="" icon="" icon_size="" icon_circle="" icon_circle_color="" width="" alignment="center"][/fusion_separator]Interested in sending a child from the Spryfield area to Digital Discovery camp this summer?[fusion_separator style_type="none" hide_on_mobile="small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility" class="" id="" sep_color="" top_margin="" bottom_margin="10" border_size="" icon="" icon_size="" icon_circle="" icon_circle_color="" width="" alignment="center"][/fusion_separator] [fusion_button link="https://digitalnovascotia.com/portfolio-items/ddcamp-spryfield/" text_transform="" title="" target="_self" link_attributes="" alignment="" modal="" hide_on_mobile="small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility" class="" id="" color="default" button_gradient_top_color="" button_gradient_bottom_color="" button_gradient_top_color_hover="" button_gradient_bottom_color_hover="" accent_color="" accent_hover_color="" type="" bevel_color="" border_width="" border_radius="" border_color="" border_hover_color="" size="" stretch="default" icon="" icon_position="left" icon_divider="no" animation_type="" animation_direction="left" animation_speed="0.3" animation_offset=""]APPLY NOW[/fusion_button]
