Winter 2018 Co-op Education Incentive (CEI) Funding Application Deadline: Sept. 15, 2017

The Cooperative Education Incentive (CEI) provides wage assistance to private sector, government-funded and non-profit organizations offering career-related work experiences for co-op students. Employers must pay a minimum of $15 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. CEI reimburses $7.50 per hour to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Employers participating in the Industrial Research Assistance Program and the Scientific Research & Experimental Development tax credit may be eligible to receive up to $10 per hour for positions offering the minimum hourly wage of $15 per hour or higher. HOW TO APPLY: Prior to submitting your application, you must first receive Co-op office approval of your job description and complete the other application requirements outlined on the CEI website. REMINDER: Winter 2018 applications must be submitted through LaMPPS: Please note that there can only be one centralized LaMPPS login per organization. If your organization has already been registered and you attempt to create a login, you will be directed to LAE to find out who the representative is within your organization so you can obtain the LaMPSS login information.
