Atlantic Canadian Fintech companies invited to join mission to Fintech Meetup Europe 2026

Atlantic Canadian Fintech Companies Invited to Join Mission to Fintech Meetup Europe 2026
Atlantic Fintech, in partnership with Venn Innovation, is recruiting Atlantic Canadian fintech companies to participate in an in-person trade mission to the inaugural Fintech Meetup Europe, taking place October 6–8, 2026, in Lisbon, Portugal. With only eight spots available, this mission offers a unique opportunity for fintech companies looking to explore European markets, build strategic relationships, and connect directly with potential customers and partners.
Why Fintech Meetup Europe?
Fintech Meetup Europe will bring the successful format of Fintech Meetup USA to the European market. Unlike traditional conferences that rely heavily on networking and cold outreach, Fintech Meetup uses a proprietary matching platform to facilitate meaningful business connections before attendees arrive. For participating companies, this means access to curated meetings with relevant industry leaders, buyers, partners, and decision-makers—without needing an established network in Europe. Beyond one-on-one meetings, the event will feature presentations from industry thought leaders and discussions focused on the latest innovations, trends, and technologies shaping the future of payments, banking, and financial services.
What Participating Companies Can Expect
Companies selected for the Atlantic Canadian delegation will receive a range of benefits designed to maximize their return on investment, including:
- One conference pass per company (valued at approximately $2,000 CAD)
- Opportunity to purchase one additional pass for a team member for $300 CAD (limited availability)
- Up to 24 double opt-in, pre-arranged 15-minute meetings with industry professionals
- Between three and five hosted meetings with senior buyers from banks, financial institutions, retailers, and merchants
- Access to a coordinated Atlantic Canadian delegation and networking opportunities
The hosted buyer meetings alone represent an estimated value of approximately $4,000 CAD per company.
Cost to Participate
The participation fee is $500 CAD plus tax and includes one conference ticket. A second ticket may be purchased for $300 CAD plus tax, subject to availability. Participating companies are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
