Digital Discovery Camp comes to Spryfield!
Digital Nova Scotia and the Discovery Centre are thrilled to announce that we will be offering a Digital Discovery Camp in Spryfield this summer!
Last year, MLA Brendan Maguire connected with us and shared his goal of bringing IT and tech opportunities to youth in Spryfield and surrounding areas. As a father, exposing kids to educational and life-changing opportunities has always been a priority for Brendan, and he knew that a Digital Discovery Camp would be a perfect fit for his community.
Brendan took the camp one step further, announcing that he and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development will be offering 15 FREE Bursary Spots for the Spryfield Digital Discovery Camp!
“A camp like this will expose our youth to the possibilities of technology and may spark a future career in the IT sector. This is a unique and fun, hands-on, mentor-led learning opportunity for youth in our community and I am so pleased to be part of making it possible and open these doors.”
