HALIFAX, NS – Digital Nova Scotia has unveiled the finalists for the 2025 Tech Forward Awards, presented by RBC, following nearly 200 nominations – the most in the event’s history. Since launching in 2016, and rebranded as the Tech Forward Awards in 2022, the event has become a key milestone for Nova Scotia’s tech sector, recognizing the people and companies driving innovation, inclusion, and growth.
Across eight categories, the 2025 finalists reflect the breadth of Nova Scotia’s tech sector – world-class innovation, economic impact, and a commitment to building a more inclusive digital future.
“Choosing finalists from a record number of nominations was no easy task, and that’s a great problem to have,” said Owen Sagness, CEO of Digital Nova Scotia. “It speaks to a sector that is growing in both talent and ambition, and the Tech Forward Awards give us a chance to celebrate the people and companies driving that momentum.”

Winners will be revealed at the Tech Forward Awards event on November 20, 2025, at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.
