Founded in 2002, The Web People is a boutique Halifax-based software studio that builds custom digital products, business systems, and automations for organizations ranging from publicly traded companies to one-person businesses. Much of our work supports companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and patchwork tools. We design and build mission-critical software that helps teams scale operations, including automated data workflows, system integrations, and internal platforms that reduce manual effort and make information reliable. Our fully customizable ERP platform connects fragmented data sources and communications into one place, shaped around your workflow with automation and built-in intelligence. We’ve been delivering practical AI solutions for more than a decade, including computer vision work in retail, search and rescue, ecommerce, and compliance. We’ve also supported a leading global technology company in advancing its computer vision platform. Most clients don’t need brand-new AI from scratch—we often apply proven tools—but when something doesn’t exist yet, we have the experience to build it.
