CGI has an immediate need for a SDET (Gherkin/Cucumber, Selenium, Robot, RESTAssured, UFT, TestComplete, Silk Suite) to join our team in Halifax, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

› Facilitates the design and development of automated test methodologies, collaborating with engineering and product teams to implement shift left techniques on test design and automation.
› Writes actionable, testable product requirements in the form of user stories based on input from product development team.
› Leverages leadership and coding expertise to lead product development team in the development and maintenance of test tools and frameworks to validate unit, integration, and functional tests of the system.
› Support test engineering efforts to implement enterprise frameworks to enhance overall testing capabilities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

› 10+ years of related experience.
› Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
› Solid knowledge of Testing Tools: Gherkin/Cucumber, Selenium, Robot, RESTAssured, UFT, TestComplete, Silk Suite
› Desired Skills: Tricentis (Tosca), ReadyAPI, SoapUI, Jasmine, PostMan
› Knowledge of Test Automation Design Patterns & Frameworks.
› Experience with Microservices
› Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
› Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
› Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with Client Stakeholders, Senior Management, and/or our technology partners.
› Requires the ability to build consensus and resolve interpersonal challenges.
› Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
› Demonstrate the ability to provide information and ideas in a clear, comprehensive, concise, and organized manner.
› Test Automation Mindset.
› Presentation skills for Demos
› Strong interpersonal skills
› Positive attitude

NICE TO HAVE
• ISTQB Certified Foundation Level (and/or other industry recognized testing certifications)
• Working experience with accessibility testing and tools
• Experience working with industry standard mobile test tools
