Your opportunity

Our GTA office is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to focus on selling our range of consulting services to clients in the Banking & Financial Services vertical throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario. The individual will own the following responsibilities:

  • Drive the profitable revenue needed to meet and exceed the annual targets assigned by BDO Consulting’s leadership team
  • Seek to become the advisor of choice, engage clients as early as possible in strategic dialogue
  • As applicable, extend a proficient level of expertise related to all technology and advisory solutions within BDO Consulting’s portfolio
  • Manage the complete sales cycle associated with all client opportunities applicable to the position’s mandate
  • Leverage and coordinate BDO Consulting’s senior service line and industry resources within every sales cycle

Your experience and education

  • 10+ years of proven business development experience in the mid-market or enterprise space, preferably selling technology or professional services
  • Strong experience selling into Banking and/or Financial Services clients
  • Proven ability to establish relationships across large enterprise accounts and navigate complex multi stakeholder buying processes, while perpetuating a positive reputation for the firm within the account.
  • Verifiable track record of success meeting and exceeding annual targets in excess of $5M
  • University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant discipline; BComm, BSci or similar
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft or NetSuite technology suites, ERP and CRM solutions, data analytics & AI and/or Cloud-centric solutions would be an asset
